Mission Statement<\/h2>\n

Our goal is to provide a friendly, nurturing atmosphere, to inspire confidence and a positive self-image. We provide age-appropriate learning experiences that stimulate the congnitive, social, emotional and physical self. Starting Ahead Academy offers an enriching curriculum. Each child is respected as an individual; therefore, teaching methods, aproaches and instruction are tailored to the child\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s unique learning needs. To meet this goal, Starting Ahead Academy maintains a low teacher\/child ratio. In addition to forming a solid foundation for future academic achievement and creative expression, our comprehensive early childhood education program also promotes social skills and healthy interpersonal relationships, which assist the children as they integrate into elementary school and beyond.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Starting Ahead Academy serves children from 2 years of age through 5 years of age. Our hours of operation are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Our Director<\/h2>\n

Starting Ahead Academy is a privately held corporation run by its owner, Mrs. Alexandra Diaz. Mrs. Diaz has over 10 years of teaching experience in the Miami-Dade Public School system. Her bachelor degree (and interest) in Early Childhood Education is the driving force behind our strategic approach to learning. A carefully handpicked staff will accompany her in providing the best possible care for your children.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
